Modernized 60s Inspired, Urban Portland Wedding // Addison & Caleb
WHEN YOU HAVE TWO TRENDY HUMANS WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH ALL THINGS FILM AND ART, AND THEN YOU PAIR THAT WITH A HIP CITY VENUE IN PORTLAND, A LITTLE BIT OF URBAN MAGIC HAPPENS!
Let me tell you a little bit about these two cool cats first. Oh, Addie and Caleb, how I adore you both.
When Addie first wrote me saying, “We’re having a modernized 60s-inspired wedding with lots of plants. My fiancé is from Singapore, so we’re incorporating some tropic florals too!” I was all the heart eyes. THEN, I found out they also grew up and met in China (JUST LIKE ME AND MY HUSBAND)!! That crazy, wild connection made it feel like we were already friends before we had even met!
We met for the first time at their engagement session (you have to go see that too), and wandered the streets of the The Pearl in Portland. Immediately I sensed their deep love for one another, and even more than that – their friendship. These two are genuinely best friends.
When their wedding day FINALLY came, it was full of excitement and anticipation for the celebrating to come! Not to mention, Caleb was looking pretty suave in his red velvet suit and Addie was slaying in her dreamy, romantic wedding dress!
They shared a mutual first look (aka neither of them new what the other was wearing – SO FUN) and then shared in giggles and tears!
The day rolled on with so many moments of recognizing their journey together and the new chapter they were starting. Friends and family from around the world came to celebrate, and it was a joyous day with everyone in the same room together!
I don’t have enough words express how beautiful and fun this Portland city wedding was!
