Golden hour is always magical — but, when you’re standing on a cliff overlooking a desert lake with mountains in the background, it’s a new level of beauty.

I had a blast exploring the central Oregon lake views with these two on this lovely summer evening. It was impossible not to take some pretty grand images with that background!

Always grateful for new friends, windy + golden evenings, and exploring this beautiful state!

 
 

Desert Evening Elopement // Central Oregon

ALL THE GOLDEN HOUR, DESERT ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT VIBES FOR THESE TWO! THE PERFECT SUMMER NIGHT, AMAZING VIEWS, AND INCREDIBLE PEOPLE — SOME OF MY FAVORITE THINGS!

We arrived at the desert butte and grasslands just as the sun was starting to make the canyon glow! Kyra & Michael got ready in the parking lot (with the final touches being lint rolling puppy hair off his suit jacket haha)! They put on their old wedding clothes — almost two years later — and we captured some magic in the desert!

It was such a beautiful evening, running from one amazing view point to the next! Summer exploring is one of my favorite things, and good company makes it even better!

Excited for many more summer evenings to come!

The Painted Hills Engagement session // Lilli + Zach

 

you really can never go wrong with spending a day running around the painted hills in central oregon! the deep moody colors of the hills at golden hour are really unlike anything else i’ve ever seen!

these two babes ooo-ed and awww-ed right alongside me as we explored the gorgeous landscapes! this space makes epic photos easy, and the grandness just overflows in every image I captured!

I’d drive to central oregon any day to hang out here!! Especially when it involves wonderful humans to hang out with (and donuts, that was a nice touch - thanks zach & lilli)!! ;)

Central Oregon, Lava Beds Couple Session // Haley + Brendan

 

all the moody goodness for this bend lava bed shoot! one of the things i love most about central oregon is that there is BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE IS EVERYWHERE! The lava beds, the mounts, the lakes, the forests, the deserts… it has got it all.

haley and brendan hiked all over the sharp lava rock with me (we only fell down + tripped a couple times haha). we walked back to the car right after the sun went below the peaks in the distance, and the whole field of rocks felt like it was glowing. it was so magical!

So, if you’re all about that epic landscape vibe, hit me uuuuuup and let’s hit the road to central oregon!

Worth every second of a 10 hour driving day to hang out with these two at this AMAZING location!

Central oregon has so many little gems for eloping! there are just so many spaces with epic locations that it makes me giddy! andddd, blue sheep rock was just one of so many!

Sunrise + Smith Rock Couple Session

Worth every bit of waking up at 4:30 am for this sunrise shoot! The rocks & the smiles really can't be beat! I'd go back to Smith Rock any day.
